 Why must I post a photo?
We require that you post a photograph as part of your profile because it gives those who look at your profile a fuller view of who you are.
Can I add more than one photograph to my matrimonial profile?
Yes, you can add up to 4 photographs to your MuslimaMatch.com profile. To change your existing photograph or attach a new photograph please e-mail us at info@muslimamatch.com for instructions on how to do so.
What are the photograph guidelines?
To help the right man find you, all of our profiles require at least one photograph with every matrimonial profile. You may post up to 4 photos of yourself.
Your photographs should be current high-quality shots that clearly show your face and aren't blurry or obscured by shadows, large hats or dark sunglasses. Exception: If you wear a face veil/niqab, your eyes at least should be visible.
A well-taken, casual photograph is often better than an formal professional studio photo. You must be fully clothed - no lingerie, swimsuits, etc. please.
We accept only .gif and .jpg files less than 400kb in size. We reserve the right to alter (resize, crop, etc.) your photograph.
Your photograph MUST NOT BE:
a picture that you are not in
an image of celebrities, scenery, caricatures, cartoon characters, Islamic calligraphy, flowers, drawings, etc.
an image in which your facial features are not clear (exception: if you wear a face veil/niqab, your eyes should be visible)
a group picture (exceptions: you have uploaded other photos of you alone)
a collage of images
something other than a non-animated .gif, .jpg or .jpeg
an image that includes urls, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses or other contact information
an image that displays obscene gestures, inappropriate postures, or lewd behaviors
I submitted some photos but now I want to substitute newer/different ones. What should I do?
Send use your new/additional photos along with your full name, postal address, e-mail address, and profile ID (if you have it) to photos@muslimamatch.com. We should then be able to match your photos to your profile.
I got an error while trying to uploading my photograph. Why?
Please let us knowu if you experience difficulty in uploading your photograph.
